Okay, smiiiiiile!
Tiffanee brought Chace to work to meet all of us. Of course, this had to be the picture of the day. I held out my iPhone to take the picture, and Tiff and I had this had this exchange:
Me: "Let me take a picture."
Tiff: "Just Chace, or I am in it, too?"
Me: "Both of you."
Tiff: "Oh, okay."
Me: "Okay, smiiiiile!"
And this is the great smile that Chace gave me. It was as if he was listening to me. (After all, he had been listening to my voice for the last nine months; he knew I was one to smile/laugh at!!)

Ok. I'll admit that I did not take this picture of Chace. This is a picture of the MMS message Tiffanee sent me. But this is big, and it still counts!Chace was born on August 28, 2010, weighing in at seven pounds and five ounces. We've been waiting for him for so long and now he's here. I still haven't met him, but I plan to visit him at home when he is a little older and more adjusted to this world. :)

Dining Out
Remember Tiffanee (the preggo one on the right)? She is still holding that baby captive. Elisha and I wanted to take her out for one more ladies' night before Chace comes. Together, we chose Cypress Inn.We had a great time; almost as great a time as the ladies at the table beside us. One of them was celebrating her 58th birthday. They each ordered an appetizer as their meal; I assume that was to save room for all the drinks they consumed. Tiff, Elisha, and I all agreed that we hope to be "that kind of cool" when we are middle-aged women.

I haven't worked with them for over a year, but the chitchat and cheerfulness were just as I remembered.Congratulations Lauren, you will be a great mom to little Ethan Charles!
